TaskChef is an independent open-core product for Codex desktop. It is not made or endorsed by OpenAI. Its public core is distributed under the Apache License 2.0. That license governs software use, redistribution and its warranty terms.

You remain responsible for the work you authorize in Codex and for access to any accounts or services you connect. Use TaskChef only with data and accounts you are authorized to access. Codex, GitHub and other third-party services have their own terms and availability constraints.

Recorded tokens can be incomplete. Displayed costs are API-equivalent estimates and do not represent subscription charges or a promise of billing accuracy. Chat state reflects the locally available records.
